At Fourth Street Motor, we use high quality Axalta paint and are able to custom mix colors to your specific shade. Through high grade materials and equipment, we are able to offer you superior results that will make your automobile look like new.

Many Services Offered
Mechanical repairs, paint jobs, and body repairs aren't the only services that we have available. We also offer state inspections, brake repair, tune-ups, oil changes, computerized frame straightening, dent removal, and more.
Above & Beyond
We can set up rental arrangements for you if you need us to. We can also shuttle you to work/school/home within a 15 mile radius at no additional charge. All vehicles in the body shop are washed and vacuumed at no additional charge.
About Us
Fourth Street Motor Company., Inc. was founded in 1932 by Mr. George Stuart and his son Meade Stuart. In the early 30's the citizens of Farmville did not have many options as where to repair their vehicle. George and Meade originally had opened a mechanic and an auto body repair facility at 110 Fourth Street in Farmville. As the demand of business grew, the company had to expand resulting in a move to 210 Fourth Street, where the business is located at today. Since the 30's, the Stuarts have always strived to do excellent work with warrantied repairs. Still, to this day, the company is owned and operated by the Stuart Family.
Currently the company is on it's third generation owner, Jerry Stuart. Over the years, Fourth Street has taken on more business and had to expand the body shop in 1997. Fourth Street specializes in full automotive and auto body repair from state inspections, tune-ups, windshield replacement, custom paint jobs, and much, much more.

Will you accept the estimate I received from my insurance company?
Yes. We work with all insurance providers. Just provide us with their estimate and we will take it from there.
My insurance company is suggesting a particular body shop. Do I have to use them?
No, you do not have to use the insurance company's perferred repair center. You may tell the insurance claim adjuster that you have a repair center that you trust.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Cash and checks are always welcome as well.
What kind of cars do you repair?
We repair all domestic and most foreign vehicles.
